We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the Ale of tomorrow. With us, you will deliver services of the highest quality to the residents of Ale. Together, 2,500 employees create an Ale that focuses on the needs of its citizens. Become one of us! **About the Workplace** **About the Service Administration** The Service Administration has the mission from Ale Municipality to be responsible for support functions to core operations, both strategically and operationally. The administration is divided into three operational areas: - **Property** – responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties and facilities, strategic space management, project management for new construction and renovations, supervision, care, maintenance, and development of Ale Municipality's outdoor environment. The total managed area is approximately 135,000 square meters, in addition to leased areas of about 50,000 square meters. - **Catering** – prepares and serves meals in the municipality's core operations according to applicable laws and guidelines. - **Operational Services** – responsible for cleaning, maintenance, the municipality's vehicles, and IT. The administration employs a total of 240 staff members, all of whom operate under the Service Committee. **Job Responsibilities** In the event of community disruption, the Service Administration is tasked with maintaining regular operations according to prioritization, which includes ensuring that the municipality's facilities are operational with electricity, heating, and water. Meals are prepared and delivered, facilities are maintained, and transportation is carried out. This responsibility includes creating continuity with backup power, emergency water management, inventory management, securing fuel supply, and transportation logistics, among other tasks. As a Security Coordinator for Civil Preparedness, your mission will be to oversee the Service Administration's development work to reduce vulnerability and enhance the administration's ability to handle crisis situations. This role involves continuous collaboration with the municipality's security unit and other administrations to identify each operation's needs for the Service Administration's support functions during a community disruption. It also includes working with the Property Operations and Maintenance Unit to implement adjustments in facilities related to the continuity plan and, if necessary, updating the administration's continuity and preparedness plan. In this role, you will coordinate the overall work on continuity planning and be responsible for developing local crisis and continuity plans and conducting training exercises. You will also be involved in developing systematic risk and vulnerability analysis work at both strategic and operational levels. **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you are structured, proactive, and meticulous. You identify deficiencies in processes and routines that need improvement and can perform your work independently. You are flexible and can reprioritize your tasks as needed. Since the position is a central support function that requires dialogue and collaboration with many stakeholders, it is essential that you communicate clearly, are unpretentious, and inspire trust. You possess excellent problem-solving skills that enable you to identify issues and develop solutions from a holistic perspective. We are looking for candidates with a post-secondary education in a relevant field or experience in the area deemed suitable by the employer. You should also have strong administrative skills and be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written forms. Experience working in a politically governed organization is an advantage. **Additional Information** You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work requires understanding complex linguistic materials and producing high-quality documentation.
