About this role

Inspection for Healthcare and Social Care (IVO) is now seeking a Security Coordinator and Security Protection Manager, stationed at the Department of Operational Support in Stockholm. Are you working in security matters and want to work in a dynamic and eventful environment? IVO has been conducting development work where security and security protection issues are a central part. About the Job You will work at an agency-wide level coordinating the organization's security work and be responsible for security protection. You will have a managerial role for employees belonging to the agency's security function and work to strengthen employee protection. Your main tasks will include: • Coordinating compliance with security and security protection legislation and other relevant policies and regulations • Serving as Security Protection Manager • Developing systematic security work within the agency • Proposing improvements in the security area • Functioning as a security advisor to operations • Acting as a requirements setter for security-related issues • Closely collaborating with managers and other relevant functions such as information security coordinators • Collaborating with other agencies on security issues • Managing security administrators in daily work • Planning and conducting information and educational initiatives This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period, located in Stockholm. Travel in the line of duty is expected. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • University or college education, or other education deemed relevant by the employer • Several years of security work experience at strategic and tactical levels within government agencies • Experience conducting and following up risk and vulnerability analyses • Experience in at least two of the following areas: • Personal security • Physical security • Information security • Fire protection • Crisis preparedness • Current knowledge of laws and regulations governing security and preparedness in government agencies, particularly in security protection, personnel security, information security, and physical security To succeed in the role, you need to have strong analytical skills and work carefully and systematically. You quickly understand complex issues and have a genuine interest in contributing to organizational development. You enjoy educating and guiding employees and have excellent collaborative abilities. You are confident in your decisions and can constructively consider and implement others' perspectives. Furthermore, you communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, and have experience producing high-quality materials and texts. You will work within a security-sensitive environment with high demands on integrity and security awareness. During recruitment, we will place significant emphasis on your personal qualities. Workplace Description The Department of Operational Support's primary task is to provide supportive operations to the agency's core activities. The department's work should be characterized by efficient and appropriate support in matters concerning finance, IT, HR, registry, procurement, internal service, administration, internal security, and digitalization. From late autumn, information security and archival issues will also be part of the assignment. The department's operations are conducted across nine units and a departmental staff and are led jointly by a department head, deputy department head, and nine unit managers. The security function and information security issues are located in the departmental staff. IVO contributes to safe healthcare and social care.
