Your role As a Security Coordinator, you will be responsible, together with a colleague, for driving and developing the administration's security work based on the city's security program. You will keep yourself informed about overarching security and preparedness issues and work strategically, tactically, and operationally with the matters you are responsible for. You will staff and have a role in the administration's crisis management. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving and developing systematic preparedness work – including risk and vulnerability analyses, continuity planning, training, and collaboration. - Planning, developing, and coordinating the administration's crisis preparedness, civil defense, and crisis support organization. - Being responsible for the administration's war preparedness. - Planning and leading security and crisis management exercises, as well as other training and information efforts that strengthen the administration's preparedness. - Collaborating with other administrations and external actors, where you represent the administration in various networks and collaborations. - Writing consultation responses and service statements, as well as contributing to city-wide projects related to preparedness. - Strategic work to develop, implement, and follow up on governing documents, routines, policies, and guidelines within the preparedness area. Your qualifications and experience We are looking for someone who has: - A degree from a relevant university or college program, such as security, crisis preparedness, social sciences, or similar. - Experience in a relevant role focused on preparedness and crisis management, such as an investigator, strategist, or security or preparedness coordinator. - Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms. - Swedish citizenship. It is an advantage if you have: - Worked according to the NATO model. - Experience working with preparedness and/or civil defense issues at a municipal level. - Trained staff in preparedness-related matters.
