Department of Operational Support aims to develop the organization and create efficient and accessible support systems. We support the organization's work regarding security, communication, HR, finance, law, and other strategically overarching issues.
**Job Description**
We are now seeking a Security Coordinator, focused on physical security and employee protection, who wants to contribute to strengthening and developing the authority's security work.
In this role, you will work broadly, both operationally and strategically, and become an important support in the organization's work with security issues.
The position is located in the Security and Service Unit. We play a central role in the authority's efforts to create a safe and secure operation, with a particular responsibility for the management and development of the authority's internal security. We are also responsible for registration and archives, as well as for the physical security of employees and premises. Our team includes office caretakers, case handlers, registrars, controllers, information security coordinators, and archivists.
As a Security Coordinator, you will be responsible for the systematic security work related to fire protection, property protection, physical security in the authority's premises, and employee protection.
You will:
- Work with perimeter security (locks and alarms, access control systems, security classification of surrounding areas, etc.)
- Conduct risk and vulnerability analyses and action plans
- Develop incident management
- Participate in the operation, maintenance, and development of the County Administrative Board's command centers and backup power
- Be involved in the development of governing documents for the area
- Train employees in security issues
- Collaborate with other security functions within the authority, such as the security protection manager and information security coordinator
- Participate in various internal and external networks
- Manage contacts with security service providers
**Qualifications**
You have a relevant academic degree in risk and security, vocational training, police education, or equivalent, or extensive work experience in the field that the employer deems equivalent. You also have experience working systematically, both strategically and operationally, with security, for example, in perimeter security, employee protection, property protection, or fire safety. You possess good IT skills in the Office suite and experience working with various IT systems.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in security work within public operations, preferably at a government authority
- Experience analyzing premises from a security perspective
As a person, you are analytical, structured, and able to work independently. It is important that you are responsible, driven, take initiative, and complete your tasks. Since the position involves contacts with many people in various ways, you need to be pedagogical, communicative, and collaborative. You must have a high degree of integrity and a good ability to prioritize.

A valid driver's license is required.
**Employment**
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You must be a Swedish citizen as the tasks within the employment are classified for security purposes. A security clearance will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
The County Administrative Board offers a flexible work life, which aims to create conditions for good goal fulfillment in operations and a healthy balance between work and leisure for our employees. This means that you can work from home for part of your working hours with tasks suitable for this. However, due to the nature of the work, much of it needs to be performed on-site at the County Administrative Board's premises.
