**The Role of Security Coordinator**
As a Security Coordinator, you will work strategically and supportively to create a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, students, and visitors of Region Jönköping County. In your role, you will:
- Coordinate and develop security efforts within Region Jönköping County.
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on security issues.
- Lead and drive development projects in the security field.
- Plan and conduct security training for our operations.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Jönköping, involving travel throughout the county. A valid driver's license (B) is required. As the role is classified in a security category, Swedish citizenship and a successful background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) are required before employment begins.

The Environment, Preparedness, and Security unit consists of approximately 40 employees who collectively represent a broad competence in environment, preparedness, security, and surveillance. We are organized into four units:
- Environment
- Preparedness
- Security
- Surveillance
Environment, Preparedness, and Security is part of the operational support and service area, which works to provide the best possible support to operations within Region Jönköping County. **Your Profile**
We are looking for someone who has:
- A higher education degree with a focus on security, crisis management, or other relevant education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Several years of experience in strategic security work.
- Experience in organizational development and project management (preferred).
- A team player with a strong ability to collaborate in workgroups and create strong networks.
- Pedagogical skills and the ability to communicate clearly and inspiringly.
- A solution-focused mindset and a good ability to plan and organize your work.
