What does the role involve?
As a security controller, you work with service and security within the airport area and constantly interact with people who are traveling. In this international environment, you'll become part of a dedicated team working together to ensure a safe environment for airport passengers and visitors, as well as smooth operations. Your job will primarily involve checking for potential threats, which includes screening passenger luggage, goods, and vehicles.
We are accepting applications for permanent positions with immediate/ongoing start for 80-100% positions, as well as seasonal employment to cover staff vacations during the period of April/May–October in various employment levels (80-100%) and hourly work. Opportunity for extension and/or permanent employment with Swedavia afterwards.
We will have multiple training starts throughout spring from week 8. The training counts as work hours, which means you will be paid for the entire period. You'll begin with a week of full-time (100%) theoretical training during daytime, followed by three weeks of practical training in security control. Once the training is complete, you'll be ready to start the job.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
• High school education
• Driver's license (B-class)
• Good Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in service work
• Full color vision
