Title: Security Coordinator at Army Staff - Intelligence and Security Section
One of the Army Staff's focus areas is building the new army. An army focused on field capabilities, developing new and restructuring existing units. The Army Staff simultaneously leads units both nationally and internationally. It develops and production-manages war units and subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools.

Position Offering
As a security coordinator, you will work proactively and actively with the Army's security protection. The position involves tasks such as structuring and analyzing data, writing security protection analyses, conducting security planning, and follow-up and control of Army activities. A significant part of the work consists of creating structure and documentation and providing advisory support to operations. You will collaborate with personnel within the Army and other Defense Force units.
Since the Army has operations both in Sweden and abroad, you may also be required to travel for work. We value mutual trust, and here you will receive both personal responsibility and excellent opportunities for skills development.
Recruiting Unit
The Intelligence and Security Section is a section within the Army Staff's Implementation Division, working comprehensively across all Army Staff processes and time perspectives - from implementation and planning to developing new capabilities and services.
The section gathers and processes intelligence information to create decision-making foundations for the Army Chief, Army Staff, and Army units in both short and long-term perspectives. Collaboration with partner countries is an essential part of creating a comprehensive situational picture. The section also leads security services within the Army.
Primary Work Tasks
- Security protection analyses
- Security protection planning
- Conducting internal controls in the Army
- Reporting on protection-worthy and security-threatening activities
- Investigation and follow-up of received security reports
Qualification Requirements
- Relevant post-secondary education with approved final grades or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Class B driver's license
- Good ability and proficiency in verbal and written communication in Swedish and English
- Good computer skills, especially Excel
Meritorious/Desirable
- Training in security services and/or security protection, military or civilian education
- Experience conducting security protection analyses and planning
- Experience documenting routines, reports, and follow-ups
- Experience or knowledge of the Defense Force, such as completed military service
- Experience conducting training
