We are seeking Security Officers for the Service Unit at the Swedish Migration Agency. With us, you will work on current societal issues influenced by global events. As a Security Officer in the Service Unit at the Swedish Migration Agency, you will be part of a shared resource for operational security matters concerning the agency's administrative premises, detention centers, and our accommodation facilities within the geographical region. Together with the Agency's Security Department, the Service Units provide expertise in various security areas. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and following up on systematic fire safety work, access control, physical premises security, CCTV, surveillance and alarm management, security risk analysis, security, crisis and evacuation planning, as well as access and authorization administration. You will work in consultation with the agency's operations as well as with other security officers and staff within the unit and other service units. The role involves travel for work, both within and outside the region. You will act as an advisor and provide support to other units within the agency. To contribute effectively, you will need to monitor the external environment and network both within and outside the agency. You will have local ordering responsibility within the security area. Furthermore, you will be the unit's contact person for our suppliers of security systems, locks/alarms/access control, surveillance, and fire protection. Finally, you will contribute to improvement efforts by conducting analysis and follow-ups in all areas and planning actions together with other security officers and staff within the unit, as well as in the national network of security officers available in the service units. You will follow up and address any deficiencies based on inspection reports in our shared premises. You will be responsible for managing technical installations within the security area and for developing and maintaining routines within your area of responsibility. Who are you? You, as the applicant, have: - Post-secondary education focused on technical security, risk or crisis management, or other equivalent education combined with work experience that the employer deems comparable - Experience in continuity planning (disaster planning/business interruption planning) - Knowledge of applicable legislation regarding the Security Protection Act, Work Environment Act, etc. - Strong communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English - Proficiency in MS Office - A valid driver's license (B) - Swedish citizenship It is advantageous if you have: - Experience in security work within public operations - Knowledge of security routines in locked environments - Experience with practical security technology connected via Unison or another overarching alarm management system - Experience working on projects related to premises security - Experience with practical fire safety work (SBA) - Experience working according to activity-based working methods A security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted. As a result, there is a requirement for Swedish citizenship. Employment is contingent upon a successful security clearance.
