**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are currently seeking a security officer to support operations at the Salberga prison and remand facility. The security officer plays a central role in the security organization at the prison and remand facility and is responsible for monitoring, following up, and analyzing daily security operations, including incidents that occur. The security officer is responsible for improving and streamlining security work in accordance with applicable regulations. The position also includes quality assurance and revisions of local regulations, security assessments, responsibility for the prison's drug work, as well as certain possession evaluations. As a security officer, you will collaborate with the security department at the headquarters, the police authority, and other actors in the justice chain.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
As a person, you are performance-oriented, self-driven, and resilient. You are analytical and possess strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Building relationships and having good collaboration skills are key aspects of the role. We are looking for someone who has:
• Completed upper secondary education in the form of a diploma or certificate
• Training in corrections or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Ability to express oneself well in spoken and written Swedish
It is advantageous if you have:
• University or college education in the field of security
• Experience in qualified security work
• Knowledge and experience in the areas of ISAP, information security, drug work, security manuals, and technical as well as physical security.
