The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school centers, high school, and adult education.
Our school has 370 students aged 6-12 and is divided into four teams: After-School Care, Grades F-3, Grades 4-6, and the Flex Unit. The school is beautifully located on a hill in Sigtuna, and the historic location provides many opportunities for local environmental teaching. We have a picturesque schoolyard with large spaces for play and activity, as well as renovated, modern facilities.
The school has four after-school centers with approximately 200 enrolled students, and we run a School IF both before and after school with varied activities and competitions. St. Per works with values of knowledge, respect, and care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have primary responsibility for teaching in Grade 4 and a class teacher position with mentorship for a group of approximately 20 students. You will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction in close collaboration with colleagues to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
The position primarily involves teaching mathematics and science, but additional subject qualifications are advantageous.
QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires a teaching license with qualification to teach Grades 4-6 in mathematics and science. Additional subject qualifications are merit-worthy.
