In this role, you will be part of the Children and Education sector. Our focus is on the development of children and young people. We work with education from preschool to upper secondary school and strive for a holistic educational approach from ages 1 to 20.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Deputy Head of Department, you will be a central part of the upper secondary school's management team and an important partner to the Head of Department for the upper secondary school. You will also be part of the sector manager's leadership team along with other department heads and key functions within the Children and Education sector. You will work in an environment characterized by development, collaboration, and a focus on the future, where issues of equity, quality, and long-term planning are at the center.
You will have the opportunity to work broadly in areas such as operational development, quality, governance, and collaboration. The role involves leading forums and meetings, preparing matters for the board, and contributing to clarity, structure, and progress within the organization. Here, you will have significant scope to influence both working methods and future directions together with colleagues who value courage, commitment, and professionalism.
In this role, you will, among other things:
• Support the Head of Department and principals in strategic and operational matters.
• Contribute to the development and quality assurance of operations based on governing documents and goals.
• Lead forums, meetings, and processes where your ability to build trust and collaboration will be central.
• Be part of the leadership team for the Children and Education sector as well as the upper secondary school's management team.
• Identify, coordinate, and prioritize issues in a dynamic environment where no day is the same.
QUALIFICATIONS
In this role, we are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and principal training and has experience in a leadership position within upper secondary education.
