About the Role – Application Engineer As an Application Engineer at DEUTZ Nordic, you'll become a key part of the technical team, responsible for providing qualified technical support to customers in Sweden and Finland. You'll work in close dialogue with customers, sales colleagues, and factories in Germany and China. The role is diverse and requires both analytical sharpness and practical understanding of motor technology, system integration, and customer needs. Example Tasks: • Answer technical questions from customers and internal sales teams • Review and provide feedback on CAD models • Perform or support installation tests and technical evaluations • Manage technical documentation and create data sheets • Function as a technical link between customer, DEUTZ AG, and other suppliers • Support installation technicians internally and in the field • Collaborate with order management and update internal systems (e.g., CRM) • Contribute to development of new projects and technical solutions Qualifications To succeed in the role, we believe you have: • Post-secondary technical education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent • Class B driver's license • Good knowledge of English and Swedish, spoken and written • Ability to travel for work It is a significant advantage if you have previously worked with engines, transmissions, or drive lines.
