Hi
I am an energetic and happy guy soon to be 19 years old, living in Tullinge with my family. Due to having cerebral palsy since birth, epilepsy, and additional disabilities, I need round-the-clock assistance to live my life. I already have a fantastic team of assistants and am now looking for an additional team member. Besides going to school, I enjoy spending time at home with my family, playing games, baking, and going for walks. Sometimes I like to go on outings, and my favorite places are Tom Tits and Skansen.
Work Tasks
Personal assistance is about providing service - helping me live like any other teenager, which includes everything in my daily life. My disabilities mean I need help with almost everything, such as meals, hygiene, activities, exercise, breathing gymnastics, and communication. I have mucus and breathing issues, so you must be attentive and observant of my needs. During the day, I go to school, and after school, I usually go home and do fun things with my assistant's help. Part of your work involves assisting me with motor training.

You should have a strong work ethic and enjoy being busy at any time of day. I want you to be engaged in your work and support both me and the team, be unpretentious and responsive to my needs, and have a professional and positive attitude towards work - you are incredibly important in my life! I'm looking for someone who is social, flexible, responsible, and works with heart. I appreciate someone who takes initiative and communicates clearly. I have lifting aids, but the work still involves physical tasks, so good physical fitness is beneficial.
It's a plus if you have some healthcare education or experience with inhalation, tube feeding, BPAP, and/or cough and suction machines, but it's not a requirement. Previous experience as a personal assistant is meriting.
Position: Approx. 25.5 hours/week (Approx. 63.75%) Mainly nights: 9:30 PM-8:00 AM, with option for additional evening hours: 4:00-9:40 PM.
