**Description**
The deteriorating security political situation in our surroundings, Sweden's membership in NATO, and a range of government investigations and decisions have led to an increased focus on work related to civil preparedness and fire services during heightened readiness (RUHB).
During heightened readiness, the fire service is assigned several new tasks. Detecting, marking, and clearing hazardous areas, indicating and decontaminating chemical weapons and nuclear arms, as well as transporting injured individuals are some examples. At the same time, we, like society as a whole, must prepare for longer periods of resource shortages. Much work in this area is currently ongoing at both the central and local levels. Among other things, civil duty has been activated within the fire service to enhance Sweden's capacity to plan and strengthen personnel supply within the total defense framework. Against this background, we are now looking for a coordinator responsible for the organization’s area of fire service during heightened readiness (RUHB).
The position is a project employment supporting the fire services in the three municipalities of Vännäs, Nordmaling, and Bjurholm, with the workplace located in Vännäs. The focus of the position is primarily on heightened readiness and civil defense.
