Robot Welder

Are you an experienced welder looking to take the next step in your welding career? We are seeking robot welders for our new facilities. No previous robot experience is required, as we offer training in control systems and programming as needed. BAE Systems Hägglunds is facing an exciting period with bookings for a long time ahead and now needs to strengthen its welding team of over 80 employees with even more independent and driven individuals for the role of robot welder. Your Future Challenge As a robot welder, you will work from drawings with robotic welding of details and hulls for our CV90 and BVS10 products. The work involves programming, rigging, setting up, loading, and operating the robot. The job also includes inspecting details and performing manual post-processing with MIG/MAG/TIG as needed. We currently work day shifts but will soon introduce shift work. Who You Are We are seeking someone with high school education who is a trained welder or has equivalent practical experience. You have good competence in MIG/MAG/TIG welding, are used to working from drawings, and preferably enjoy programming and have computer skills, with good material knowledge, especially in steel, but also stainless steel and aluminum. Experience with ABB or IGM robots is meriting. If you don't already have a welding license, forklift, and/or crane operator certification, you will obtain these with us! Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement for the role, and you need to have basic IT skills. As a person, you have your own drive and quality mindset and enjoy delivering well-executed work. You should be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks while also working well in a team. Order, tidiness, and high risk awareness are also values we appreciate.
