The riding school is a smaller operation focused on ponies and catering to children and youth. The facility accommodates both riding school activities and private horses. It is located in the village of Norr Amsberg, approximately 10 kilometers north of Borlänge. Currently, we have 10 ponies and about 110 riding sessions per week. Lessons are scheduled from Monday to Thursday and on Saturdays. The activities are conducted outdoors.
**Your Profile**
We are looking for a riding instructor who has relevant education or experience deemed suitable by the employer. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are seeking someone who is positive, flexible, service-oriented, responsible, possesses good communication skills, and is easy to collaborate with.
You should enjoy teaching in a pedagogical manner and working with children and youth. Experience in teaching groups of students is desirable but not required. Training will be provided during the introduction. It is a significant advantage if you are an active rider yourself. You will serve as a good role model for our students, prioritizing the well-being of the horses and viewing the riding school as a meeting place where everyone is welcome.
The position primarily involves conducting riding lessons, horse and stable care, as well as other tasks associated with a riding school. Further training of our horses/ponies and some administrative duties may also be included in the role.
Experience working in a riding school environment is an asset but not a requirement.
**Employment Type:** Fixed-term employment.
**Start Date:** Immediate or as agreed.
**Position Scope:** 10-40% including evenings and weekends.
**Salary:** According to agreement.
