Riding Instructor with Horse Care Responsibilities

Söderhamn Equestrian Association is a small, non-profit riding school with a big heart and strong community. We offer instruction for children, youth, and adults at all levels, placing great emphasis on horse welfare, safety, and development — both for our students and our horses. We are therefore seeking someone who wants to contribute knowledge, commitment, and new ideas towards a sustainable and inspiring future. Are you a skilled riding instructor who wants to be a key person in our continued development? Primary Responsibilities • Plan and conduct riding lessons for different levels and ages, and develop lesson plans, courses, and activities • Work with education, training, and development of riding school horses, with overall horse responsibility • Participate in scheduling, horse allocation, and operational structure planning together with colleagues and board • Contribute to the organization's development with focus on quality, efficiency, horse welfare, and community We Offer • A warm and inclusive work environment with engaged colleagues and students • Opportunity to influence and develop the organization • Varied work tasks in an environment centered on community and horse welfare • Salary by agreement Qualifications • Education as SRL I or equivalent experience • Good horse knowledge and experience with horse care, and interest in sustainable horse development • Committed, structured, and solution-oriented with strong pedagogical skills • Enjoys collaboration and wants to contribute to a sustainable and forward-looking riding school operation The position is a permanent employment.
