We are currently seeking an outage manager for our Operational Radiation Safety team at Forsmark Kraftgrupp. This role offers varied work with clear responsibilities and the opportunity to take on new assignments as needed.
The team is responsible for overseeing the production facilities during the three outages concerning radiation protection, preparation for work, and monitoring radiation doses. We also handle report writing, ADR transport, and support the waste team with radiological issues. The period during outages is more intensive, and you will lead a team of about 60 people. Between outages, we focus on reporting, planning, and sharing experiences in preparation for upcoming outages.
You will work in a well-mixed group where everyone collaborates to support daily operations with radiological knowledge during outages. For those wishing to develop, there are excellent career opportunities.
You will play a central role in leading and coordinating work during outages. Your responsibilities include:
During outages, you will work shifts scheduled for either morning or afternoon. The position may also include on-call duties, participation as an internal trainer, and involvement in Forsmark's emergency organization, which may require working some weekends and evenings.
As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and take significant responsibility for your tasks. You work safely and with high quality, are decisive, and have a strategic mindset. You enjoy analyzing operations, events, and data and are open to development and new ideas. Furthermore, you possess good social and communication skills and enjoy meeting and collaborating with others within various workgroups.
