Our small, highly skilled Reverse Engineering team within Ericsson’s IPR & Licensing (IPR&L) organization is looking for a new member to join our lab and help uncover evidence of patent use in the world’s most advanced wireless devices. What you’ll do • Perform teardowns and prepare devices for measurements and/or documentation • Collaborate with internal experts as well as external suppliers of reverse engineering • Conduct black box testing • Document and analyze test results • Engage in creative problem solving • Create test setups and methods to perform hands-on measurements involving different devices and measurement equipment, such as: * Base station simulators and base stations * Oscilloscopes and logic analyzers * RF testing equipment * Power analyzers What we’re looking for * A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education. * 4+ years of hands-on experience testing electronic devices in a product development lab. * Proficient in using test instruments, scripting, and data logging. * Broad mobile phone R&D experience, including knowledge of 4G LTE & 5G NR. * Solid understanding of board-level hardware and familiarity with test-related software tools. * Experience in black-box testing, attention to detail, and strong documentation skills. * Collaborative, communicative, and able to work independently. * Basic understanding or interest in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
