ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Reuse Technician, you will play a central role in our client's reuse operations. You will handle used and retired electronics, such as laptops, monitors, mobile phones/tablets, and computer components, by inventorying, sorting, testing, repairing, inspecting, quality assuring, erasing memory data, and packing the equipment for resale.
The work is performed on-site at our client's facility in Åkersberga alongside a dedicated team, where you will ensure that products are reused in the best possible way. The role combines practical work with repair and quality control with process improvement for maximum sustainability – a job that actively contributes to the future of the planet.
The assignment initially lasts for 2–3 months with the possibility of extension.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
* Handle used and retired electronics, such as laptops, monitors, mobile phones/tablets, and computer components.
* Inventory stock and sort incoming materials.
* Test, inspect, and quality assure products.
* Erase memory data from devices.
* Pack used equipment for resale.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Holds a B driver's license
- Has experience working in industry and/or service
- Has knowledge of Windows, Office, and iOS
- Has good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is advantageous if you have
- Work experience in the IT field, for example, from technical support or service of IT products.
- Previously worked with the refurbishment of mobile products and/or Apple products, which we see as a significant advantage.
