We are looking for someone who wants to work with us in the middle school!
You will spend your days as a resource educator in one of our teams. You will work closely with the teachers in the grade, where you collectively assess the students' needs and plan the interventions that provide the best possible conditions for each student to succeed.
As a resource educator at Västbergaskolan, you are a central part of the students' entire school day. With a responsive and professional approach, you support the students who need extra help and create security in their learning. You work closely with the teachers in the team and provide support to individual students and smaller groups in various teaching situations.
After the school day ends, you will continue your work in our after-school club, where students in grades 4–6 spend their afternoons. Currently, about 140 students are enrolled, distributed between two spacious rooms at the school.
You are a trained leisure leader, resource educator, or leisure pedagogue and have a positive and responsive approach to both the students' and the organization's needs. You easily adapt your working methods to different situations and circumstances. With commitment and initiative, you plan and implement, together with the staff at the after-school club, creative and meaningful activities that you regularly follow up and evaluate. You are a secure and inspiring role model for both students and colleagues, and your values align with those of Västbergaskolan.
You have a genuine interest and commitment to driving and developing break activities. The role includes planning, organizing, and conducting activities that engage students and offer meaningful alternatives to free play.
You have a good ability to collaborate and communicate with students, guardians, and staff at the school. You are a clear, positive leader who builds on the strengths of students and colleagues to help others develop. You adhere to common agreements and want to participate in Västbergaskolan's exciting work.
Salary according to agreement.
We apply a 6-month probationary period.
Start date: January 2025.
