Preschool Vikingen is located in Brottby, northeastern Vallentuna. We are a small preschool with space for 25 children aged 1-5 years. Here, we combine rural idyll with safety, proximity, and abundant nature. Our facility is housed in a large red villa with numerous rooms that invite creativity and learning. Our core values are built on high staff density, extensive outdoor activities, and active parent dialogue.
Preschool Vikingen is operated as a parent cooperative with engaged parents and short decision-making paths.
Job Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a resource/childcare assistant for a 100% position, starting in early January.
Your responsibilities as a resource/childcare assistant include collaborating with colleagues to plan, prepare, and implement daily activities with our children, and ensuring the continuity of our educational program. This takes place in a workplace with wonderful colleagues, working together to continue driving our preschool in a safe, pedagogical, and developmental environment, in accordance with the curriculum.

Qualifications
We are seeking a childcare assistant, preferably with formal education or previous experience. You should be accustomed to taking personal responsibility, being a good role model, and attentive to children's expressions.
The role also involves being a positive role model for children and colleagues and having a good understanding of the equal value of all individuals.
A criminal record check for school is mandatory.
Personal Characteristics
We value candidates who are good listeners, empathetic, flexible, and have strong collaborative skills. We believe you have high social competence and are proactive. You speak fluent Swedish and can communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Employment Terms
Permanent employment with collective agreement at 100%. Start in early January.
