About this role
Just 150 meters from Linköping Central Station lies Scandic Frimurarehotellet – the hotel where tradition meets the future. Located right next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings, our modern and relaxed hotel has roots dating back to 1912. The hotel is the largest in Östergötland and hosts everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets.
We are nearly a hundred employees here, originating from all around the world, just like our guests. Being a large hotel and having three Scandic hotels in Linköping under common management provides excellent development opportunities for our staff.
We are now seeking a Restaurant and Conference Manager for Scandic Frimurarehotellet.
In our restaurants, kitchens, and bars, our colleagues come together every day to create and serve exquisite and sustainable drinks and dishes. We welcome guests with our unique personalities; this is how we provide genuinely personal experiences that create memorable encounters for ourselves and our guests.

What the role entails
As the Restaurant and Conference Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the restaurant, conference, and banquet operations. You will stay constantly updated and keep an eye on the market. You will also be responsible for finding the significant balance between short-term profits and long-term sustainable results. In this role, you are expected to lead the department with the help of your team and drive our hotel forward.
Additionally, the position involves:
- Working strategically and with goal management (including relevant key performance indicators).
- Motivating and coaching your team members.
- Attracting and recruiting future colleagues.
- Being part of the hotel’s management team, actively working on the hotel’s long-term initiatives.
- Reporting to the General Manager.

Experience you bring and share with us
- Relevant education.
- Experience in a leadership position within the service industry.
- Proficient in Swedish and English.
- Experience in planning both large and small restaurant experiences.
- Good computer skills.
