About Los Tacos
Los Tacos is an American-Mexican, California-inspired fast-casual concept founded in 2015 by Brian Kovary, a Californian whose life in San Diego, surrounded by taco shops, shaped the menu. The brand offers a wide range of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, churros, bowls, and nachos, as well as an affordable bar with a good selection of beverages. Naturally, Los Tacos also provides several vegan and plant-based options.
Today, Los Tacos operates 17 restaurants and five food trucks, with Sveavägen 88 being the brand's first establishment in Stockholm. Los Tacos is known for its modern style, relaxed atmosphere, and creative marketing. It is a natural meeting place for young people who want to enjoy good food and drinks in a vibrant environment – now also featuring a bar that offers affordable cocktails, beer, and wine in a social setting.
About the Role
As the Restaurant Manager/Location Manager and "first player on the field," you will be a central part of establishing Los Tacos in Sweden. You will help build the business from the ground up, and the role will evolve alongside the expansion in Sweden.
This is a role for someone who thrives on responsibility, development, and a proactive work approach. You will lead by being present, contributing practically, and creating structure and quality together with the team.
You will receive comprehensive introductory training in the concept, and during the first months, you will be supported by experienced staff. Behind you is the entire chain – with resources, knowledge, and support when you need it.
Your Main Responsibilities
• Drive the startup of the new restaurant in Stockholm.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop the initial team.
• Be responsible for licensing matters, including serving permits, alcohol licenses, self-control, and supervision.
• Establish routines for operations, staffing, hygiene, and service.
• Collaborate with the chain's operations team regarding purchasing, marketing, and opening campaigns.
• Monitor key performance indicators, guest satisfaction, and profitability after opening.
We Are Looking For You Who
• Has relevant professional experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a leadership position.
• A background in restaurant management is a plus.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish regulations regarding serving permits, alcohol legislation, food hygiene, and supervision.
• Practical knowledge of hygiene, operations, work environment, cash handling, and scheduling.
• Experience working with or managing alcohol service.
• Computer literacy is required, and knowledge of finance is an advantage.
• Is hands-on, solution-oriented, and enjoys building structure and culture from the ground up.
• Is a natural leader who can inspire, create engagement, and deliver results.
• Has a passionate interest in food, service, and people.
• Has a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Also feels comfortable with English in everyday situations when needed.
If you have previously been involved in an establishment or expansion within the restaurant industry, it is certainly a strong advantage. Likewise, if you have experience starting and running a restaurant or café.

Employment Conditions
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probationary period.
Salary: To be agreed upon.
Bonus: A generous bonus system based on certain key performance indicators, paid monthly.
