Welcome to Restaurant Färgaregatan We are now recruiting a Restaurant Manager, and we are looking for someone who is responsible, cheerful, and service-minded, with good collaboration skills and who wants to build a career in this fantastic industry. We are a restaurant that serves home-style lunches as a buffet during the day, and à la carte in the evening. Your main working hours will be in the à la carte operations, where you are expected to be the face of the restaurant and take responsibility for customer satisfaction and work planning. You will also work several lunch shifts per week, where we all help in the kitchen, including goods reception, vegetable preparation, sandwich cake production, cleaning, and dishwashing. In this smaller operation, it is important to be able to handle multiple work areas to offer more working hours and cover for each other during illness, leave, and vacations. Key Responsibilities • Ensure high level of customer service through good reception and presence in the business. • Plan bookings, table settings, receive reservations, organize restaurant work before, during, and after guest visits. • Accept orders for sandwich cakes, catering, and large groups. • Update company website and social media. • Plan and execute events focusing on brunches, after-work, wine tastings, and large groups. • Conduct beverage orders, handle deliveries, and monitor inventory status. • Lead staff during work shifts, including task distribution. • Follow up and ensure routines are followed by all staff. • Support and collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth service. • Kitchen work, both independently and in a team, including simple cooking, product selection, cleaning routines, work as kitchen assistant, dishwashing, and facility maintenance in all areas. • Oversee cleanliness and order in the dining room, and clean bar, dishwashing area, and other spaces. Competence Requirements • At least one year of experience working in à la carte restaurant with table service, preferably as a waitress in a leadership role. • Minimum high school education in hospitality and service, preferably restaurant and food program or similar. • Good communication skills and service orientation. • Ability to organize, plan, and lead work.
