Traveling Turbine Mechanic
MK Manning is now seeking an experienced and technically driven Turbine Mechanic who enjoys working on various projects across Sweden. This role is suitable for someone with solid experience in turbines, rotating machinery, and mechanical maintenance — and who also appreciates a job that involves travel, problem-solving, and close collaboration with clients.
Responsibilities
As a Traveling Turbine Mechanic, you will:
• Perform installation, service, and maintenance of turbines and associated equipment.
• Work with both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Conduct troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and adjustments on rotating machinery.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards.
• Document efforts and report according to the client's and MK Manning's procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Education in mechanical engineering, maintenance technology, or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience with turbines, mechanics, or machine systems within the industry/energy sector.
• A good understanding of technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Experience with rotating machinery is highly desirable.
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility on-site with clients.
• Good teamwork skills and a technical problem-solving mindset.
• A valid driver's license (B category).
• The willingness and ability to travel for work, both for short and extended periods.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. English is a plus.
