Traveling Service Technician

For more information, visit www.cidanmachinery.se About the Position We are now seeking an experienced service technician or repair specialist for CIDAN. You will become a key team member in an exciting company manufacturing sheet metal processing machines. You will work on servicing and repairing machines for customers throughout Sweden, and we prefer candidates living in or near Arvika. Your focus will be nationwide, with occasional work for international customers and in our factory as needed. Job Description Your primary tasks will include: - Preventive maintenance - Repairs/Corrective maintenance - Machine installation and startup - Customer training on machine operation - Reporting machine faults and field experiences - Renovation of used machines Internal technical support will be available to help solve complex issues. Your Responsibilities will be: - Preparing and planning customer visits, including timing and spare parts - Executing work systematically and with high quality to ensure operational reliability - Reporting your work, fault causes, and actions in our administrative systems - Managing the service vehicle with associated spare parts and tools We Are Looking for Someone Who: Has previous experience as a service technician or working with machine or vehicle repair, both mechanically and electrically. Proficiency with computers and control systems is also important. Fluent Swedish and good English skills, both spoken and written, are required. German language skills are a plus. Personal qualities should include being a problem solver with strong service awareness, responsibility, precision, and a structured approach. Extensive travel with regular overnight stays is involved. A valid driver's license (B-license) is required.
