What does the role offer?
As a traveling service technician at Vartex, you will work closely with our customers in the field, enjoying a varied daily routine that combines practical work with customer contact and service. You will be based in Jönköping and collaborate closely with our colleagues both locally and in Varberg.
In this role, you will, among other things:
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on fitness equipment, gym machines, and gym floors
• Carry out installations of gym equipment for private and corporate clients
• Install entirely new gym facilities together with colleagues
• Identify and suggest complementary products or services at customer sites
• Contribute to high customer satisfaction through professional interactions and excellent service
You will be based in our office in Jönköping with regular working hours from 07:30 to 16:30, with the possibility of flexible hours. Work occurs Monday to Friday, and you will manage your days in consultation with your colleagues. Overnight stays may occur in the role and will be compensated according to travel allowances. The role involves travel across Sweden, where you will receive support from both the team planning the assignments and our three service technicians in Varberg.
Who are you?
To be the person we are looking for, we believe you are a technically skilled and curious individual with a strong sense of service who is eager to share your knowledge and maintain a professional demeanor. You enjoy traveling for work and gain energy from satisfied customers and providing excellent service. Previous experience in a similar role as a traveling technician is advantageous but not a requirement.
Furthermore, we believe you have:
• A valid B driver's license. BE/C/CE licenses are advantageous but not required
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, with knowledge of English
• An interest in gyms and training, with experience in this type of environment
Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous but not required. We believe you are an initiative-taking, service-oriented, and meticulous person with a positive and problem-solving attitude, who understands the importance of good collaboration and satisfied customers. You thrive in an independent role, are responsible, flexible, and detail-oriented. With your positive and trustworthy demeanor, you create a sense of security for both customers and colleagues while also contributing ideas and initiatives that strengthen and further develop the business.
