Job responsibilities
As a traveling service technician, you will perform service and installation of static and vehicle-mounted scales with associated equipment, as well as install hydraulic and load cell-based scales on larger vehicles such as wheel loaders and material handlers. The work involves measurement technology and requires precision, with the goal of eventually becoming accredited in calibrating scales. In this role, you will be part of a team of other traveling service technicians who work closely with the support department, product specialists, and the aftermarket manager.
You will primarily work in your district consisting of Västra Götaland, Jönköping, Halland, and Skåne, but occasional travel to other areas in Sweden may be required. It is estimated that there will be 140-180 overnight stays per year, and you will regularly work away for several weeks at a time (though typically not over the weekend). You will be provided with a service vehicle that you can garage at home, allowances for meals, travel expenses compensation, and a flex bank where you can choose either payment or days off.

Education, experience, and personal qualities
• Completed upper secondary education in a relevant field, such as mechanics or vehicles.
• Experience working in mechanics and hydraulics, including installation, service, and maintenance.
• Experience working with heavy industrial scales in the field, either stationary or vehicle-mounted, is advantageous.
• B driver's license; a CE driver's license is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.
