About this role
**About the Position**
Nowhere Networks is seeking a responsible and curious technician who wants to combine work in their Network Operations Center (NOC) with practical fieldwork. You will monitor and troubleshoot the network in real-time from the office in Bromma, as well as travel regularly to install and maintain network equipment on vessels and masts across Europe.
This is a role for you who desire a varied daily routine where one week you monitor the network and respond to alarms, and the next week you climb masts or troubleshoot technical equipment onboard vessels.
**Your Future Responsibilities**
As a technician, you will play a central role in ensuring a stable internet connection for customers through both monitoring and field efforts. You will work closely with colleagues, technicians, and customers, and are expected to take responsibility for driving each case to resolution.
Examples of tasks include:
- Monitoring the network in real-time and responding to operational disruptions
- Troubleshooting basic network issues and coordinating efforts
- Installing and maintaining antennas, cabling, and network equipment
- Working practically in the field: climbing masts (up to 80 m), pulling cables, and solving technical problems
- Communicating with vessel crews, planning assignments, and preparing equipment
- Contributing to the improvement of operational and monitoring routines
**We Are Looking For You**
You have a strong technical interest and enjoy combining computer-based work with practical technical tasks. You are solution-oriented, take responsibility, and ensure that problems are resolved.
We prefer that you have:
- Experience working in NOC, operations, IT support, installation, or similar
- Basic understanding of networks (IP, Layer 2 & 3, routing)
- A valid driver's license (manual transmission)
- Good physical condition and no issues working at heights
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
**Meritorious:**
- Network-related education
- Experience in real-time troubleshooting
- Climbing training or experience working at high altitudes
- Background in electrical, networking, telecommunications, or maritime environments

- Start: By agreement
- Location: Bromma, with travel in Sweden and Europe (approximately 40–50% of the time)
- Scope: Full-time
