J Gruppen focuses on performing electrical and mechanical installations as well as maintenance work. Our headquarters are located in Sweden, but our operational area spans across the entire world – Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Thanks to our strong reputation for delivering cost-effective and high-quality work, performed by our competent professionals, we are receiving increasingly more assignments for various projects for large international manufacturers of automated systems and integration specialists.

As an automation technician, you will:
• Install and troubleshoot hardware and control systems.
• Implement electrical systems for industrial machines.
• Maintain and diagnose mechanical and electrical systems.
• Work on building, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment and electrical installations.
Your Profile:
• Good education in mechatronics, electronics, or mechanical installation.
• Prepared to work internationally and willing to travel.
• Mandatory English skills, minimum level B1 (spoken and written).
• Class B driver's license.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
• Experience and education in industrial maintenance and good technical knowledge of electrical, automation, and transport systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electromechanical equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, robotics, servo systems).
• Good knowledge of using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office) and ability to handle email, databases, and documentation.
• Works safely, independently, and in teams, with the initiative to solve problems outside given routines.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Citizenship in an EU country.
• Class B driver's license.
• Good communicative ability in English.
Preferred:
• Class C or CE driver's license.
• Certificates such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, welding certificate, hot work, etc.
• All relevant certificates are merit-based.
• Tax number from Finland, Norway, Sweden, or another country.
Salary & Work:
• Individual salary based on competence and experience.
• Working hours: 100% with overtime as needed.
• Position is a permanent employment.
