Repair Technician for Utility Network

Description We are now looking for a creative technician who wants to contribute to something truly important! As a technician with us, you will be part of a team consisting of eight technicians, a coordinator, and a unit manager. Our common mission is to support the core operations with various repairs of, for example, pump stations, valves, and fire hydrants. We are also involved in construction projects related to water and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities In a typical week, you will work on: • Welding work, fabrication, and assembly of pipe galleries. • Projects such as renovation or new construction of water and wastewater facilities. • Repair and fabrication of technical installations in pump stations, reservoirs, and tunnels. • Work in a mechanical workshop such as repairing facility equipment, pumps, etc. As a technician, you will encounter a highly varied daily routine. Usually, our assignments are planned, but we regularly respond to urgent requests, and we strive to be flexible based on the needs of the operations. In emergency situations, we need to be able to adapt and think creatively to find the best solution in each case. Depending on the assignment, you will work independently or in pairs with one of your colleagues. We are based at the newly built headquarters of Kretslopp and Vatten in Alelyckan. Here, we have a large workshop fully equipped with modern tools and machines, and we cover the whole of Gothenburg as our work area. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • A high school education with a technical focus, or equivalent experience as deemed relevant by the employer. • Experience in welding, metal processing, and working in a mechanical workshop. • Computer skills, as we operate in a digital work environment. • Knowledge of reading technical drawings. • Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. • A valid driver's license (B category). It is an advantage if you also have a forklift license. This position is classified for security purposes and requires a background check approved by the Security Police, which also includes alcohol and drug testing. On-call duty may be required as part of the role. We seek someone who is driven and thrives in a flexible and changing environment.
