As a waste management driver at SSAM, you are a key person in their work for a sustainable and cleaner environment. You contribute every day to ensuring our municipality functions smoothly and that we collectively achieve our environmental goals.
In your role, you will primarily:
- Collect and transport waste from both households and businesses within Växjö municipality, according to established routes and schedules.
- Ensure high quality and service by handling waste safely and efficiently, in compliance with current procedures and environmental requirements.
- Meet customers with a friendly and professional approach, serving as an important ambassador for SSAM and contributing to a positive experience in interactions with residents.
- Report deviations and follow safety regulations to create a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- As part of their team, your work is crucial in maintaining good service to the municipality's residents while protecting the environment for future generations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking someone who:
• Is responsible, service-oriented, and flexible.
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working both independently and in a team.
• Has good physical condition, as the work is physically demanding.
Requirements:
• Minimum C driving license
• Digital tachograph card
• Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate)
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
Merits:
• Experience in waste management or similar service occupations
• CE driving license
• Computer proficiency
Work is primarily during daytime with some on-call availability on weekends and holidays.
