Are you a rock star in service and enjoy varied work tasks? We are now seeking a Waste Collection Worker for Collection Services.
At our Recycling Department, we are 20 employees who together manage household waste collection, property-near recycling, recycling centers, and recycling stations.
Recycling is part of Water and Waste at the Technical Administration. The department consists of approximately 200 employees, and we are responsible for ensuring the municipality's traffic environment is safe and accessible, and that Kristinehamn's residents have access to clean, fresh, and good water from the tap. We also ensure that the municipality's children, youth, and elderly receive nutritious meals at our preschools, schools, and special housing. Additionally, we manage the municipality's properties and are responsible for strategic facility planning.
WORK TASKS
- Collection of household waste/Property-Near Recycling in rear-loading vehicles
- Handling vehicle computers, RFID equipment, and reporting deviations
- Washing vehicles and superstructure as needed and performing daily maintenance/inspection of vehicles and superstructure
- Delivering vehicles to the workshop as needed
- Other tasks occurring in the recycling department
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with a valid professional competence certificate and at least a C driver's license.
As a person, you are organized, a morning person, responsible, and committed to treating customers courteously. Furthermore, you are a communicative person with good collaborative skills who enjoys varied work. If you have good social skills, you will particularly enjoy this job as it offers extensive customer contact.
A crane vehicle driver's license is meritorious.
