Job Title: ReManufacturing Operator
ReManufacturing operators for a factory in Gothenburg
Do you want to contribute to reuse and reduce energy-intensive processes? SKF's ReManufacturing department is currently expanding, and we are looking for new operators who want to be part of this journey!
We reuse steel from bearings that have been previously used in various applications, which reduces the need for energy-intensive processes like mining and steel production. By refurbishing bearings, we give them new life so they can be reused multiple times.
Your daily tasks and responsibilities:
• Receiving, inspecting, and thoroughly cleaning bearings
• Reviewing and precision measuring bearing components
• Refurbishing components, including cleaning and polishing
• Reassembling bearings and packing for delivery to customers
Currently, ReManufacturing is becoming increasingly automated, but manual work is still involved.
We are looking for candidates who have:
• Experience in machining, bearing assembly, and reading technical drawings
• Good computer skills and ability to work with digital tools
• Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good physical capability, as some tasks are manual
• Forklift license, Crane license
• Experience with 5S in the workplace is a plus.
