JOB DESCRIPTION
We are now looking for a leader who is driven by working closely with both children and adults and has humility and a strong desire to drive ongoing development work. You will also collaborate with other principals in a team and participate in the work carried out in the municipality's principals' group, a forum for leadership and experience exchange. In this role, you will have central support in matters concerning student health, HR, finance, digitalization, facilities, quality and development work, analysis, and legal issues.
As a principal:
- You are responsible for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances.
- You ensure that content, development, and results align with national and local goals and steering documents.
- You create conditions for learning.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the organization enables student health work, including collaboration aimed at creating an accessible learning environment for every student.
- You lead the collegial collaboration of teachers and student health in systematic quality work.
- You are expected to analyze the connections between methods, students' learning, and the school's results.
- Based on the democratic and value-based mission, you work to shape an organization where trusting relationships are created with employees, students, and guardians.
- You actively contribute to good collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a relevant higher education degree. A government principal training certification and several years of school leadership experience are advantageous. You are well-acquainted with the school's governing documents and regulations.
You are confident in your leadership, characterized by engagement, clarity, presence, and your ability to empower your employees.
You are accustomed to working in a goal-oriented environment with a focus on systematic quality work and development. You are analytical and solve problems without losing sight of long-term strategies.
You can demonstrate independence in decision-making and take responsibility in daily operations.
You have good collaboration skills, and in communication with employees and students, you harness engagement and ideas while fostering participation. You are a good listener and easily empathize with others' situations.
You share the school's values, where inclusion, equality, and diversity perspectives are natural components.
