About Kronetorp School – a key in future community building
Burlöv is growing. Right now, we are developing central Burlöv, connecting Arlöv and Åkarp.
We are building a living place, and in the heart of this, we are planning Kronetorp School with high ambitions – a new F-6 school for approximately 550 students. The school will become an example of how architecture, pedagogy, and community development can interact. A place where students are inspired to move and learn through all senses. There will be creative spaces for innovative teaching and learning environments that spark curiosity, engagement, and joy.
We are now seeking a principal who wants to take on a unique opportunity to build our new school.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The assignment involves building up Kronetorp School from the ground.
We are looking for someone who is both a team player and driven to develop and think innovatively. You need to have solid pedagogical competence and a developed sense of structured processes. We offer you good development opportunities along with qualitative and close support. The ability to build relationships and communicate both internally and externally will be key competencies for the assignment.
The assignment involves being part of the municipality's successful school development while simultaneously building a new school from scratch. The school will grow gradually over the coming years, initially with operations for younger school years and adapted primary school. You will be involved in recruiting and building the entire school team while equipping the school with new and modern learning environments with associated equipment. It is important that you can maintain a long-term perspective while also diving into detailed questions.

You will belong to the principal group led by the deputy director of administration with operational responsibility for primary school. Together with colleagues, we build shared educational quality.

You are an inspiring leader with pedagogical higher education and insights into what characterizes good teaching. You have the courage to think innovatively and the ability to bring others along. You believe in every student's potential to succeed and in the school's power to make a difference.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have school leadership experience, are accustomed to working strategically, and are confident in your professional role. You are experienced in building trust and can handle uncertainties with calm and clarity. You need to be communicative and see diversity as enriching for the operation and as an important part of development work.
You also need good planning skills and the ability to make decisions in a changing context. We see completed or ongoing principal training as meritorious.
