You will be part of a management team where, with support and inspiration from other principals and support functions, as well as good collaboration with other departments, you can lead a school to achieve top-class standards. Landboskolan (Grades F-3) and Mogaskolan (Grades F-3) belong to the municipality's central school area, with approximately 210 students and about 30 employees. **RESPONSIBILITIES** As a principal in Svenljunga Municipality, you are expected to continue developing the schools to achieve top-class status, together with the committed staff of the schools. You will take over well-established schools with experienced and competent personnel. Your role involves creating a safe environment where students and staff experience clarity, security, and conducive study conditions, with a focus on hope for the future and knowledge. You will have the support of an administrator, and each school has a lead teacher. As a principal, you have a comprehensive mandate in which you are responsible for the working environment, staff, and quality within the financial framework of your operations. The role also includes building trustworthy relationships with employees, guardians, and union representatives within your assignments in the operations. Through your pedagogical leadership and quality work, you will build a school for everyone. **QUALIFICATIONS** To be considered for the position, you must have: - A university degree with a focus on education - Familiarity with the school’s governing documents and regulations - Good command of both spoken and written Swedish - A valid B driver's license Merit for the position includes: - A degree from the principal training program or that you have started the training. - Experience as a principal in preschool and/or primary school - Completion of leadership training programs We are looking for someone with high social competence and a positive and flexible fundamental attitude. A professional and respectful approach is a given. You are confident in yourself and your leadership, and you have the ability to engage and inspire your staff. At the same time, you are attentive and clear in your communication regarding goals, resources, and expected outcomes. You are committed to good teaching and individual support processes for students in need, and you have a strong interest in what happens in the classroom, organizing work in such a way that everyone has the opportunity to take responsibility for their own and the school's development. You are structured, analytical, and can solve problems without losing sight of long-term strategies. Experience of systematic quality work with a focus on results and goal fulfillment is highly meritorious.
