Principal for the Preschool Administration Job Responsibilities We are looking for someone who wants to be involved in the continued development of operations in Borås. As a principal, you will lead the work at one to two preschools, with responsibility for operations, staff, finances, and working environment. The principal plans, follows up, evaluates, and develops the quality of operations through systematic follow-up and quality work, and is responsible for participation and influence for children, parents, and staff. You will be part of the preschool management team and, together with 51 other dedicated principals and three operational managers, work towards providing high-quality and equitable services focused on those we serve: our children. To enable you to focus on your role as an educational leader, you will receive support from the administration in various processes. You will have access to HR specialists, financial advisors, administrative support, child health services, and a unit for quality and development issues. Collaboration within the city, alongside other unit managers and union representatives, is a natural part of your work, where you recognize the value of working from a child and youth perspective. Qualifications We are looking for candidates with a degree in education and experience in educational operations. You are well-acquainted with the preschool curriculum and have a good understanding of systematic quality work. You have experience in driving development issues and change processes with positive results. You are an inspiring person with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You are positive and have the ability to see opportunities and alternatives in complex and challenging situations. As a person, you should be proactive and development-oriented, accustomed to taking personal responsibility while being attentive, collaborative, and having a humble attitude. You are meticulous, structured, and enjoy working on various tasks simultaneously in a changing environment. You have the ability to foster participation and consensus around the mission to develop an operation that nurtures and inspires our children to learn and succeed.
