Nordic Learning Center has established school units in Täby, Järfälla, and Nacka. We are now seeking a principal for our unit in Täby with immediate start. The unit is new and plans to welcome its first students in January. We are seeking an engaged and goal-oriented principal who wants to play a central role in shaping and strengthening our organization going forward. Since the operation is in a start-up phase, we are looking for someone who does not expect everything to already be in place, but who thrives in an environment where you can develop, structure, and influence. You find it stimulating to establish routines, create engagement, and be creative in your pedagogical leadership role. As principal, you have overall responsibility for the school's pedagogical development, quality assurance, and operational management. You lead and inspire the staff while actively identifying and developing opportunities that strengthen the school's position and contribute to long-term quality and sustainability. Since the unit is new and the operation is still developing, we offer compensation that reflects the current conditions. Your duties will include: • Ensuring quality education and creating a positive learning environment for both students and staff. • Pedagogical leadership by coaching and developing the school's teachers and following up on teaching quality. • Strategic planning and development of the school's operations, including new educational opportunities and collaborations. • Financial responsibility including budget work, resource allocation, and result follow-up. • Collaboration with municipalities, business sector, and other external stakeholders to ensure relevant education and strengthen the school's network. • Responsibility for student health and support measures to ensure an inclusive school environment. Qualifications and Requirements: • Principal training and experience working as a principal, preferably in adult education. • Documented experience in pedagogical leadership and school development. • Experience with business development, financial responsibility, and strategic thinking in the education sector. • Good understanding of adult education's mission and regulations. • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders. • Ability to inspire, lead, and develop staff.
