The Children and Education Department in Sävsjö Municipality is now seeking a principal responsible for preschools in Sävsjö, Stockaryd, and Rörvik. You will be supported by a deputy principal and will be part of an experienced management team that together drives development forward, always with children's best interests at heart.
About the Role
As principal, you will lead the pedagogical work and be responsible for preschools Ripan, Sörgården, and Fantasia in Sävsjö, Appelhagen in Stockaryd, and Snickaregården in Rörvik.
You and the deputy principal will work closely with staff to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children. Together with colleagues in the management team, you will contribute to improving teaching quality and strengthening children's goal achievement.
You will have comprehensive responsibility for the operation's quality, personnel, economics, and work environment. As a new principal, you will have a mentor during your first year – we want you to succeed!
QUALIFICATIONS
• Hold a pedagogical university and/or college degree
• Have experience in pedagogical work in preschool and/or school
• Are well-versed in curricula and relevant legislation
• Believe in inclusion and adaptation based on children's different prerequisites
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience as a school leader or other leadership experience, lead teacher, or development leader is merit. Completing the state principal training is a plus.
