The Legal Department within Västra Götalandsregionen's Corporate Office works to safeguard the region's interests in legal matters and provides qualified legal advice to various operations within Västra Götalandsregionen. The unit consists of approximately 20 positions, most of which are regional lawyers. Key areas of law for Västra Götalandsregionen's operations include administrative law, municipal law, public procurement, healthcare law, contract law, and digitalization law. We are now looking for a regional lawyer to work broadly on the issues that arise in the department, with the opportunity to specialize in one of our key areas of law. The role of the regional lawyer involves providing qualified legal expert support to Västra Götalandsregionen's operations. You will encounter a varied workload connected to the region's diverse assignments. In addition to contributing legal advice on major development projects, you will work on resolving complex cases and drafting documents and information with legal content. What Can We Offer You? To Succeed in This Role, You Need We are looking for someone who, in addition to a law degree, has several years of experience in independent legal work in one of the areas of law that the unit covers, either in court, at a law firm, as a corporate lawyer, at a government agency, or in another larger organization. As a person, you are proactive and driven with high integrity. In addition to strong legal knowledge and the ability to work efficiently and independently, you must be responsive and flexible, with a solution-oriented approach.
