As the Regional Manager for the East, you will have overall responsibility for personnel, operations, and sales at our units in Stockholm, Uppsala, and Norrköping. This is in a region where we are strong but also have potential for continued development and growth. You will work closely with the various stores where four store managers and four field sales representatives report directly to you. The role involves several trips each week within the region to meet customers, support sales representatives, and store managers.
As an important management function within SGD, you will collaborate with other regional managers as well as company management, particularly the COO to whom you will report.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Personnel management and overall operational responsibility for SGD’s activities in the East region.
• Follow-up, goal fulfillment, and reporting along with activities in a challenging yet stimulating market.
• Generally drive issues that contribute to SGD strengthening its position as the best choice of supplier within the flooring wholesale segment.
• Development processes with a focus on the company’s business. This includes being attentive to and monitoring what the future flooring market needs in terms of service and products.
• Work towards achieving the group’s goals and actively contribute proposals for future development.

QUALIFICATIONS
• We expect you to have well-documented experience in sales and leadership. Previous responsibility for a larger region or overarching leadership role is considered an asset.
• We prefer that you have a background in the flooring industry or related sectors such as building materials trade, plumbing, or similar. Experience in store and warehouse operations is also advantageous.
• Education relevant to the position, preferably at a post-secondary level.
• Documented strong negotiation skills.
• Good financial knowledge and a genuine understanding of store operations and follow-up.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• B driver's license: we require significant flexibility for daily travel within the East region, though with a limited number of overnight stays.

Scope: Full-time weekdays according to schedule.

Employment type: Permanent, possibly with an initial probationary period.
Individual salary setting; we have a collective agreement.
