For an assignment with our client, we are currently seeking a junior accounting economist to strengthen the finance department during a parental leave. The focus will be on ongoing accounting, invoicing, and monthly processes. The role serves both as a support and control function and requires a self-driven, meticulous, and solution-oriented individual.
The assignment is expected to last from February 2026 to April 2027.
Your responsibilities:
- Invoicing: Customer and supplier invoices (high volume, some require manual handling)
- Internal invoicing: Management between multiple companies
- Bookkeeping: Posting orders and ongoing accounting
- Reconciliations: Balance reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and other classic monthly reconciliations
- Year-end work: Participation in monthly closing and annual report processes
- Payroll models: Control and calculation of variable components
- Time reporting: Status checks
- Expenses: Review of digital expenses
- System administration: Data entry, managing multiple databases

Excel: Good knowledge of basic formulas
