We are a values-driven organization with offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, and we are now looking for an accounting economist who wants to help develop our finance function in line with the organization’s needs. As an accounting economist with us, you will have a broad and developing role where you will work both operationally and strategically with financial flows, reporting, and compliance. You will be part of the finance department and report to the head of the finance unit. Together, you will contribute to the development of routines, systems, and processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and digitalization. Your main responsibilities: • Bookkeeping of vouchers, payments, accruals, and securities, as well as updating the fixed asset register. • Responsibility for accounts payable including invoice management, coding, approval flows, and payments, as well as handling customer invoices, payments, and communication with external parties. • Participation in year-end closing and annual reports, preparation of declarations, reporting to management and authorities, as well as financial monitoring and analysis. • Ensure accurate project accounting, follow up on agreements, provide internal support on financial matters, and assist during audits. • Contribute to the development and streamlining of financial processes. Your profile: We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in finance or accounting and a few years of experience working with accounting, year-end closing, and financial processes. You have good knowledge of accounts payable and invoicing, and experience with the financial system Unit4/Agresso and accounting according to K3 is an advantage. You possess excellent skills in accounting and Excel, a strong analytical ability, and an interest in digitalization. You are accustomed to working in various systems and have a good understanding of financial relationships. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You are service-minded, communicative, and enjoy collaborating and developing together with others.
