About this role

We are now seeking an Accounting Economist for a small agency in Stockholm. This role is a temporary position due to parental leave starting in February 2026 with potential for a more long-term role. You will have an important part in a tight-knit team and work closely with exciting customers, often in startup and growth phases! ABOUT THE POSITION The company is a small and personal accounting agency that in recent years has consisted of three employees, including the owner. The company primarily works with customers from its own network and with strong references, which reflects the quality of work delivered by the agency. Located in beautiful premises just south of Stockholm, in this role you'll have the opportunity to develop while having colleagues on-site who are always available for guidance and sparring. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an Accounting Economist, you'll have a varied workday where you manage your own customer portfolio. You'll work with approximately 15-20 customers, many in growth phases, which means you'll never be stuck with the same task or customer all day. This requires significant flexibility and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Ongoing accounting and administration * Payroll administration * Preparation of simple financial statements (periodic and annual) * Customer communication and advisory, serving as the primary customer contact and helping them understand their finances * Participation in ensuring quality and structure in the agency's deliveries WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO - Has experience with ongoing accounting - Experience preparing simple financial statements - Basic knowledge of accounting systems - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written - Good knowledge of the Office suite It is meritorious if you have - Experience working in Spiris (previously Visma Spcs) - Experience working at an agency To succeed in the role, you should have the following personal characteristics: - Structured and organized: You are the agency's success factor in sorting, prioritizing, and managing multiple customer matters simultaneously - Social and communicative: You enjoy handling people, are pedagogical, and can communicate numbers and processes simply to less-informed customers - Flexible and stress-resistant: You thrive in "mixing and matching" between different customers and can quickly shift focus - Ambitious and loyal: You look forward to growing in your role and becoming an important part of our team long-term - Enjoy hanging out with us!
