Accounting Economist for Consulting Company - Remote

We are seeking a responsible individual to take on the role of Head of Finance for a thriving and growing tech consulting group. Typical Responsibilities: • Sole responsibility for the company's ongoing accounting, year-end closing, payroll, etc. • Ongoing accounting, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting. • Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, annual, and group financial statements, with group decisions being secondary. • VAT and tax reporting. • Liaison with authorities, auditors, and system providers. • Responsibility for the financial system and implementation of new procedures. • Administration of company cars. Who are we looking for? • Relevant education or equivalent competence in finance or accounting. • At least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting work, having worked with companies with a turnover of at least 50 million SEK. • Experience in year-end closing, reporting, and liaising with auditors. • Experience in the consulting/IT industry is an advantage. • Very good knowledge of Fortnox and Visma Payroll. • Native Swedish speaker with strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written. You have control over your working hours, understanding that there may be periods during the month with higher workloads and others with less. Approximately 70 payrolls are processed monthly, and the group currently consists of 7 companies, and we are growing. The monthly salary, based on the freedom this position offers, is set at 35,000 SEK, along with 8 weeks of annual vacation to be taken in consultation with the CEO.
