As an Accounting Economist in our internal finance department, you'll be part of our initiative to build a modern and progressive financial function. Responsibilities
As an Accounting Economist, you'll work comprehensively with the accounting flow up to financial statements. You'll be responsible for supporting and mentoring junior resources and ensuring efficient and accurate accounting. You'll also develop, analyze, and improve reports to provide even more valuable insights to the organization. You'll work closely with group managers to ensure financial goals are met and processes are continuously improved.
You will, for example:
• Prepare and quality assure monthly financial statements
• Perform ongoing bookkeeping
• Drive the transfer of financial functions from subsidiaries to the central team
• Assist in group accounting
• Develop and streamline internal processes and routines
• Manage VAT reporting on a quarterly and monthly basis
Who Are You?
To thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who is solution-oriented, fearless, and flexible, and enjoys taking initiative to drive work forward. You are structured and social, with an ability to quickly adapt to changes, making you comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
We're Seeking Someone Who:
• Has a post-secondary education in economics
• Has at least 3 years of accounting experience
• Is independent in the entire accounting process, including financial statements in K2 & K3 frameworks
• Has previous experience with annual reports and tax declarations
• Is fluent in Swedish and has good English skills
• Has previously worked in the Fortnox system
It's an extra merit if you:
• Have experience with accounting work in a larger organization with multiple profit centers
• Have worked in Capego and Boardeaser systems
