**About the Position**
We are currently seeking an Accountant for the City of Gothenburg! You will be responsible for monitoring the accounting in investment projects, managing the activation and decommissioning of fixed assets, as well as calculating rental implications. The role also involves year-end closing activities.
The position includes the following tasks:
- Monitoring accounting in investment projects
- Activation and decommissioning of fixed assets
- Calculation of rental implications
- Year-end closing activities
**Assignment Period and Scope:**
The Accountant position is a full-time consultancy assignment starting in week 49 and lasting until week 18, 2026, approximately 5 months.
**Requirements for the Position:**
• Relevant higher education comprising at least three (3) years or equivalent education
• At least three (3) years of work experience as an accountant
• Proficient in MS Office or equivalent
• Knowledge of relevant accounting systems (for example, U4 (Agresso), Raindance, among others)

**Meritorious for the Position:**
- Experience in accounting and/or fixed asset accounting project economics
- Experience in public administration or real estate organizations

**About You**
You possess strong organizational skills, are structured, proactive, meticulous, and capable of managing your own work. Additionally, you are communicative and have the ability to work collaboratively with your team as well as independently on individual tasks.
