The role involves independently handling ongoing accounting tasks and being a vital part of the finance function. The assignments vary in length and scope depending on the client's needs, providing you with the opportunity to broaden your experience and develop in your professional role.
**Responsibilities**
As an Accounting Economist, your tasks may include:
• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Reporting and analysis
• VAT and tax declarations
• Preparation of annual reports
• Liaison with authorities, auditors, and other external parties
• Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks
**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have:
• Post-secondary education in finance or equivalent
• Several years of experience in accounting work
• Good knowledge of accounting and business systems
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with financial closing is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
• Attention to detail, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently
